New Year’s Resolutions That Will Change Your Firm in 2018
New Year’s Resolutions don’t have to be about losing weight, quitting a bad habit, or trying yoga. They aren’t supposed to be only personal. You can create meaningful resolutions for your firm, too. A resolution is, after all, a decision to do something differently in order to bring about positive change.
1. I Will Take Steps to Improve my Digital Presence.
If it's been more than two years since your website has been updated or isn’t mobile-friendly, if you still haven't created an email marketing list, or if digital isn't a large component of your marketing plan, it's time to add this resolution to your list.
2. I Will Finally Get Social in my Firm.
Have you been putting off social media? Have you even explored which channels might be right for your firm and why, but haven’t had time to work on a content strategy? If so, this is the perfect resolution for your firm.
3. I Will Charge What I'm Worth.
Do you ever feel undervalued or underpaid by your clients? If so, then this resolution can help. Consider if you are currently marketing to the right audience. Maybe it is time to revamp your strategy and raise your rates to accommodate the value you bring to the table.
4. I Will Grow my Team and Delegate More.
If you have more work than you can handle and no time to focus on growing your firm, maybe it's time to stop wearing all of the hats and rely on others to help. If you don’t have the team in place that can do that, consider leveraging marketing in order to recruit and retain top talent.
Make your resolutions stick by transforming them into goals and including them in your business and marketing plans. Make 2018 the year you finally bring all of your resolutions to fruition.
